Dr. Kenneth Smith
Dr. Kenneth “Ken” Smith is a California native from the Santa Clarita Valley. He attended Saugus High School before graduating from California Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and departmental honors. He earned his Doctorate of Dentistry from the University of Southern California and attended his orthodontic specialty residency at Jacksonville University, Florida.
Dr. Smith enjoys attending courses on new technologies and procedures to improve patient care. He frequently attends orthodontic meetings, workshops, and study clubs to further his education. Dr. Smith is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association and Santa Barbara-Ventura Dental Society.
Dr. Smith truly loves being an Orthodontist and is so grateful to have the ability to improve a patient’s quality of life. Throughout his education, outreach, and work experiences, he has always strived to provide exceptional quality of care for his patients. He is dedicated to the health and well-being of the Ventura community. He enjoys the patient-doctor relationship and the opportunity to be an engineer that can create a custom smile that will last a lifetime.
Dr. Smith is honored to have the opportunity to continue Dr. Hannah’s legacy in the community. This practice is more than a business venture to Dr. Smith, it is foundation to start a life with his family and grow with for the rest of his career. Ventura has been an integral part of his life and most importantly it is where he married his wife. The opportunity to build a practice and create a family in a place that he and his wife both cherish is a dream come true. Dr. Smith lives in Ventura with his wife, Megan and their two dogs.

Dr. Paul "Rick" Hannah has enjoyed the privilege of growing up in Ventura, California. He raised his children in Ventura and opened his orthodontic practices in both Ventura and Fillmore. He attended E.P. Foster Elementary, Avenue School, DeAnza Middle School, Ventura High School and graduated from Buena High School. Dr. Hannah received a Bachelor of Science form California State University at Long Beach. He earned his Doctorate of Dentistry from the University of California at San Francisco, where he also completed his orthodontic specialty residency.
Dr. Hannah feels it is important to stay current with the most up-to-date treatments and procedures available. He frequently attends orthodontic meetings, workshops, and study clubs to further his education. Dr. Hannah is certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of many professional orginazations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association and Santa Barbara-Ventura Dental Society.
Dr. Hannah lives in Ventura with his wife, Carol. She is a former microbiologist who worked at Ventura County Medical Center and Ventura County Public Health Laboratory. Dr. Hannah has four children. His son, Shaun, is an architect living in Costa Mesa with his family. His daughter, Kristin, is a teacher and lives in San DIego with her family. His son, Brian, is a licensed clinical social worker living with his wife in Portland, Oregon. His youngest son, Scott, attends Channel Island State University. Brian and Scott grew up in Ventura and attended Mound Elementary, Cabrillo Middle School, Balboa Middle School, Ventura High School and Foothill Technology High School.
Dr. Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends. His favorite past time is re-building and restoring old cars, specifically Fords from the 1930's.
